The Dow Jones Technology engineering team is opening for Intern Software Engineers who have a passion for learning on building cutting edge mission-critical software solutions. Our platform supports a dynamic business that provides the world’s most comprehensive collection of news and data to a broad spectrum of enterprise clients. We are looking for interns who are unafraid of learning new technologies.
You are:
Undergraduate or graduate, with at least two years of your degree
Having basic knowledge of C# .NET
Having knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Programming skills
Having knowledge of source control with Git
Well-organized, able to work independently, comfortable with working in a geographically diverse team environment
Initiative person with a positive mindset, creative thinking, adaptive to workflow changes
Demonstrating efficiency and problem-solving skills
An exceptional communicator, having both written and verbal English and Bulgarian
Able to collaborate creatively within a team
Timely, professional, and know-how to stick to deadlines
Proficient in Google Workspace and MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Would be a plus:
.NET Core and/or .NET 5 exposure
Understanding on Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure etc.)
Docker, Kubernetes
Understanding of RESTful APIs
Understanding on JSON and XML formats
Understanding on SQL, working with RDBMS like MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL etc.
